Sister
Carol Melsopp is a member of the Sisters of the Presentation
Congregation of religious women. Sister received her B.S. in Elementary
Education from Fordham University. At that time she received permanent
certification for teaching Pre-K through grade 6. Education continued
for Sister at Villanova University, where she received her Masters
Degree in Secondary School Science. This enabled Sister Carol to be
permanently certified in teaching the various science courses in grades
7-12.
Realizing that a youngster truly gets to know God in
a significant manner takes place in the early years when one’s character
is being formed, Sister went on to Boston College to receive her Masters
Degree in Administration and Supervision. This offered Sister Carol the
opportunity to work with teachers in bringing the wonderful message of
God’s love to His young children as they daily meet Jesus in a unique
and loving environment. She is certified in Administration and
Supervision.
Sister has been in education for over forty years,
the last sixteen as principal. She has worked in schools in the
following states: New York, New Jersey, Louisiana, and Montana. She has
returned to New Jersey to be part of a dedicated faculty and staff at
Saint Peter the Apostle School.
The
