Mrs. Russo-Tiesi
Pre-K Teacher
BS, Business Administration, Saint John's University

Mrs. Russo-Tiesi began her working experience at Saint Peter the Apostle School in 1999 as an extended care moderator. She has taught Pre-K since January 2004.  She is currently pursuing her Masters degree in education at Caldwell College.

Mrs. Stanziale
Kindergarten Teacher

Mrs. Stanziale has been teaching kindergarten at Saint Peter the Apostle School for the past five years.  Anne Marie is frequently involved in field trips, family fun nights, and other extra-curricular activities

Lisa Gomez
First Grade Teacher
BBA, Accounting, Iona College.  MA, elementary education, and teaching certification, Farleigh Dickinson University

Lisa is a proud alumnus of Saint Peter the Apostle School.  She worked with AT&T in Morristown for 12 years in the Corporate Accounting Department. While working, she also studied for and received her certification as a certified Management Accountant (CMA). Soon after, Lisa decided to pursue a career in teaching. She attended Farleigh Dickinson University where she received her teaching certification and her Master of Art in Elementary Education. She completed her student teaching in the Parsippany School District and was later hired by Saint Peter the Apostle School.  She taught the first and third grades for 2 years and is now teaching first grade again. In addition, Mrs. Gomez prepares the children for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist.

Kateryna Kucyna
Second Grade Teacher
BA, Family & Child Studies with a Concentration in Early & Middle Childhood, Montclair State University; Certified Highly Qualified K-5

Kathy has over 25 years of experience working with children from age 5 through 18.  She has been the Head Educational Director of the Ukrainian American Youth Association (UAYA); a worldwide organization created to educate and prepare the Ukrainian youth about their heritage and help them to become active community members in the process.  UAYA has been proud to include various Senators, Congressmen, Doctors, Layers, Teachers, Laborers, and Clergy as members – all who are still active members of the organization.  Kathy, her husband, and their son all came up through the ranks of this organization and today formulate and implement various programs throughout the school year.  Kathy also enjoys spending her summers with her family and friends in the Catskill Mountains creating education programs for various summer sleep-away camps, as well as training future counselors and educators.  She is very active in her church, St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church.  Kathy enjoys teaching the children catechism and organizing various cultural and spiritual events.  When Kathy isn’t teaching or organizing, she enjoys travelling, crafting, or curling up with a good book.

Lisa Hance
Third Grade Teacher
BS, Elementary Education and Psychology, Felician College, Lodi NJ

Lisa has been teaching for nine years.  Her first teaching experience was at St. Joseph’s School in Mendham, NJ, teaching fourth grade. After a year, she left teaching to raise her family. As her children grew older, Lisa decided to return to teaching.

In 1999, Ms. Hance was hired as a part time Pre–K 3 teacher.  She continued teaching the three year olds for two years and then moved up to Pre-K 4.  Ms. Hance taught and developed the preschool program for four years. In 2005, Ms. Hance switched to second grade, and has continued with that group into third grade.

Lisa is also involved in extracurricular activities such as coordinating the Talent Show, Family Fun Nights, Field Day, and Field Trips.

Maura Coyle
Fourth Grade Teacher

BA, Elementary Education, Kings College

Miss Coyle's teaching experience includes working in Elizabeth, NJ as a first grade teacher and in Scotch Plains, NJ as a fourth grade teacher. She came to Saint Peter's in 2000 and taught the third grade for three years.  In addition to teaching fourth grade, Maura is the director of our popular spring musicals.

Joanne Carpentier
Fifth Grade Teacher

BA, Education, Marywood University, Pennsylvania; Additional graduate courses taken at Seton Hall University, College of New Jersey, and Jersey City State College (Certified as Teacher of Handicapped)

Mrs. Carpentier has been at St. Peter’s for the past 22 years and has taught the following grades: Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, Grades 1, 2, 3, and 5. She has also taught Math to Grades 5, 6, 7, and 8. Before she came to St.  Peter’s, Joanne taught Remedial Math at Brooklawn Middle School in Parsippany and Grade 6 at St. Mary of Mount Carmel School in Pennsylvania.

Mrs. Ebel
Sixth Grade
BA, Mathematics SUNY Buffalo; Additional studies at Rockford College, Rockford, IL, and the University of Iowa

Before coming to St. Peter the Apostle School, Mrs. Ebel taught middle school math and science in Rockton, IL

Joan Millard
Seventh Grade
BA/MA, Education, East Stroudsburg University; Principal/Supervisor certification from Jersey City State

Joan has been teaching for over 25 years in various capacities: teacher grade two, grade three, Reading Specialist grades one through eight, Language Arts teacher grades five through eight, teacher of Study Skills grades seven and eight, and interim Principal.  Her basic duties for the last fifteen years included preparing middle school students in several different school districts for the eighth grade reading and writing exams called the GEPA.  Joan is also an adjunct professor at Centenary College and Sussex County Community College teaching Reading, Writing, and Education classes.

Ms. Lardiere
Eighth Grade Teacher
BA, Secondary Education, Kean University; Additional studies in History at Montclair College

Before coming to Saint Peter the Apostle School in 1981, Ms. Lardiere taught in Plainfield and in Pompton Plains.  She also serves as yearbook advisor and the student council moderator

Isabel Outumuro
Spanish
BA, Spanish, Kean University

Isabel has worked for an insurance company for the past 15 years in various departments; the last four as an account consultant.  While working, she received her Health Insurance Producer Certification and a Masters degree in Business Administration.  Isabel is currently pursuing her Masters degree in Education at St. Peter’s College.

Chris Stefanski
Computers
BA, Classics, Montclair State University

Mr. Stefanski began his undergraduate program as an Art Education student, but changed programs due to his interest in Greek and Roman history, and Latin.  After graduating with honors from Montclair State University with a degree in the Classics, Mr. Stefanski began working as a Retail Analyst for Valley National Bank for a few years, but quickly decided to use his computer knowledge and interest in education to pursue teaching.  He is currently enrolled in the NJ Alternate Route Program in order to obtain his licensure.

Lorena Lalicata

In addition to being our School Librarian, Lorena enjoys a position as Curator of Exhibits for the Charles Edison Fund, a private foundation whose primary mission is to preserve and promote the legacy of the world’s greatest inventor, Thomas Alva Edison, a position which she has held for over fifteen years.  Lorena has two children that attend St. Peter’s and is Co-Vice President of the H.S.A.
